The Professional Bartending School of San Antonio is an independently owned trade school. We are a state approved bartending school that has trained San Antonio's best bartenders since 1997. Our concept is to concentrate on offering superior training to students behind “real” bars with actual equipment from experienced bartenders. The Professional Bartending School of San Antonio is a nationwide school, with over 30 locations that train over 10,000 bartenders annually.
When you walk into our school, you would think that you are in a real bar! Our learning facility is unique to San Antonio, there’s no other like it! It’s very spacious with 10 fully operational bar stations, dual speed racks, three and four compartment sinks, several bottle racks, and much more.
All classes are taught behind the fully equipped bars, with exceptional detail to each lesson. Our methods are proven to provide you with the best professional bartending skills such as: mixology, product knowledge, presentation and etiquette, customer service tips, and job searching strategies.
Each student works at their "own" bar station. The program is designed to be hands-on training, with each student working behind the bar for at least three hours per day with one hour of instruction. We have three licensed instructors which provides the student to teacher ratio in approximation of 3:1. This ratio allows for more individual attention than any other school in this area. Our program is designed to educate you with or without prior bartending experience.
Once you successfully complete the program, you will receive a certificate of mixology and lifetime nationwide job placement assistance. A Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) class is included with the tuition. A TABC certificate will be obtained upon successful completion of that class. TABC certification is not required in Texas, but highly recommended. Most establishments will not hire an employee unless they are TABC certified.
